Google updates it’s calendar with multiple sync options for Windows Phone users

It’s nice to see companies who at the same time compete with each other but make their other services work with each other. I think it’s sort of a win-win situation especially with companies that deal in the mobile industry.

Google has now update their Google Calendar to allow Windows Phone users to sync multiple Google calendars per account. Up until now, this has only been possible through a JavaScript hack.

It seems that Windows Phone is doing a good job into rebranding their OS as bigger companies start paying attention to them.

BlackBerry App World 3.1 now Live with new features

After being in Beta mode for a short period of time, Research in Motion has decided to bring the BlackBerry App World 3.1 to a full version. Research in Motion’s BlackBerry App store now comes with it’s very own ratings system as previously announced and a gifting service which allows users to buy and request apps for and from another user.

I would like to point out the gifting service which I think is a very good idea, as it would surely increase app sales in time for the Holiday Season.

Skype for Android update released

Skype is considered to be one of the best video calling service for both on the desktop and mobile as they’ve been able to provide uninterrupted, stable and free device to device video calling. Now, it seems like it’s mobile blend of the service just got a little better with the latest Android update allowing users to share photos and videos to and from a device.

The update is available for free as always and is available for download from the Android MarketPlace.

Skype is also available for the iOS although there’s no word on when a Windows Phone version would come out.

The BlackBerry Milan spotted in the wild

If you’re one of the hardcore BlackBerry consumers and have been waiting for something new to come out from them, then I am happy to say that the BlackBerry codenamed Milan has been spotted in the wild. The phone, according to previous report will be sporting the new BlackBerry 10 OS.

Unfortunately, we have little knowledge of its specs though sources say it’s screen will have a resolution higher to the iPhone 4. Anyways, we will update you as soon as more word about it comes to us.

Walmart to offer good deals on smartphones this Black Friday

Walmart has today announced it’s wide range of deals for this coming Black Friday and what’s great is that they have included a number of smartphones and tablets as well.

There’s no price reduction, but instead, anyone who purchase any smartphone from their offers, they will receive an additional $100 gift card from Walmart. Also, the Samsung prevail will be offered for only $70 for the prepaid version so no commitment here guys.

PressReader app updated, iOS 5 update coming soon

Developed by NewspaperDirect, the PressReader app has now been update with a handy new feature. Now, users of the app can enjoy the new SmartZoom option that will greatly improve the way they read digital magazines in high-resolution.

So you get that, aside from the usual bug-fixes, not bad for a free update. Also, the guys behind the update promises another update that will come soon and will be coming with support for iOS 5, although why they didn’t just include that in one update is beyond me.

From the looks of it, Samsung has yet again about to launch a new Android smartphone and from what I see with it’s specifications, it would soon belong to the high-end bracket of network Android offerings.

The Samsung SHV-E120L according to the source, sports a dual-core 1.5GHz processor and will be fitted with a 4.7 inch multi-touch display. It’s screen will have a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and will be running Android 2.3.5 out of the box.

Unfortunately, this the extent of what we know about the device but we will update you as soon as more news about it comes out.

Targus announces its new Laser Mouse, Wi-Fi Pan technology is present

Targus has today unveiled a new addition to its line of mouse devices and it comes in the form of the Laser Mouse ( AMW58US). So what’s so great about this one that we have to feature it?

Well, unlike other wireless mouse in the market, this one doesn’t make use of Bluetooth rather it connects to your computer via Wi-Fi PAN connectivity. This would mean that the device will connect to multiple devices that are connected on the same Wi-Fi network as the mice.

The Targus Wi-Fi Laser Mouse will debut some time this month for only $50. The device will also have an integrated four-way scroll wheel and a high precision laser to be able to run on different surfaces.

Best Buy puts up the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 for pre-order

If you’re wondering if the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is coming to the US, then you might just find the answer from Best Buy as the store has put up a pre-order page for the device. Best Buy is putting up the Galaxy Tab 8.9 with a $469.99 price tag for the 16GB model. Mind you that this is only the Wi-Fi version.

As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 sports a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and is running Android 3.2 Honeycomb out of the box. It’s got an 8.9-inch screen with a pixel resolution of 1280 x 800.

NuForce iDo Headphone Amp for the iOS announced

NuForce has announced the release of a new amp called the iDo. The iDo is designed to provide awesome amplification to all iOS devices including the iPad, iPod and the iPhone. NuForce claims it to be an “Audiophile-Grade” headphone amp which can support up to 48KHz, 24-bits of resolution and 10-20KHz frequency.

The device is designed to connect to iOS devices via their 30-pin port connector to provide CD quality sound. iDo will be coming out in November of this year but you can purchase it online from Nuforce for $249.
